Oh dear! What has become of you, Life?
You wake up to the sunrise no longer,
but seek a place for caving;
How you wish you could detach yourself
from feelings that quantify your being;
You forage for peace amidst chaos,
so you can let out a sigh,
and alienate your miseries;
You dwell in the past,
not willing, and not quite keen
on discovering a silver lining.
If I reckon, there were times
when of all things said and done,
giving up was the most luring alternative.
But you held on to your poise,
knocked out the stumbling blocks,
and paved a way for me to rejoice!
Your glory days aren’t yet bygone
but are on a hiatus most likely,
and while you await their homecoming,
nudge yourself a bit out of your gloom,
and look, ’tis the season of floral bloom!
Them sturdy trees, that were once forced
to forgo their charmingly colorful foliage,
and were rendered bleak and leafless,
fought their gloom, and are back after the hiatus;
Hence, I insist you to hit your stride,
and create moments for yourself, of joy and pride!
